After seeing another possible ancillary task that I could complete instead of either the CD/DVD Digipack or Website, I opted to do the extra task over the Website. The extra task was to complete a Magazine Advertisement, which would be promoting the release of the CD/DVD Digipack. I thought that this would be more suitable to my portfolio, as I could retain continuity easier between that and the Digipack rather than the Digipack and Website.
My Magazine Advertisement will include; The official Caroline Larsson logo, shot of the CD/DVD Digipack cover, reviews from top newspapers and websites and a series of slogans such as: “Out Now”.

My Magazine Advertisement is a credible representation of a real life advertisement. The poster features appropriate conventions of an advertisement such as the official logo of the singer, image of the CD cover, an image of the singer as the main focus of the advert, ratings from renowned reviewing sources such as The Sun and Jo Whiley and basic headline stating that the CD is available to buy now. The advert also links in with the CD/DVD Digipack as the font is the same throughout, plus a faded image of the singer is also seen, and is a different image to the four used in the Digipack. The image shows the singer making a rock symbol with her hand whilst looking at the camera in a way that can be perceived as voyeuristic, which was an aim of mine. I am really pleased with the result of my Advertisement, as it is clear to understand, visually pleasing and it is fitting for the genre of Caroline Larsson.
